An exploration of identity and relationship through clothing. An experiment in photographic technique to blur the boundaries of painting and photograph. In this series, I photographed my sister, mom, her sister, her sister's daughter, and my maternal grandmother.

The vibrant colors of the outdoors. The stark industrial interior. In each photograph, the idea of space is at the forefront and there is a clear physicality that relates the viewer to the location.

Harsh light, impenetrable shadows. Subject, character. Chiaroscuro is easily recognizable in Caravaggio's paintings, but in this series, I explore how this technique can be used within photography.
